Before starting, sanitize the work area , equipment and containers and weigh the ingredients

In a heat-resistant beaker, add the ingredients for phase A and in another heat-resistant container, add the ingredients for phase B. Cover to prevent evaporation.

Add the containers of phases A and B to a water bath at 70ºC, until phase A melts

Once phase A has melted, remove from the water bath. Gradually incorporate phase B into phase A, mixin with an immersion blender until the emulsion thickens slightly.

Add the glycerin to the emulsion and mixing with an immersion blender briefly

Mixing with a spatula, wait until the emulsion reaches 40ºC or slightly less.

Add Phase C ingredients 1 by 1, mixing with a spatula

Measure the pH. It should be between 5 and 5.5. Adjust if necessary.

Cover with cling film and let it rest for 24 hours

Tips

You can replace both emulsifiers with 4g of protelan ens, or other ingredients will change the texture

You may replace ivy extract with Gotu Kola extract

You can add essential oils or fragrances if you wish.
